K Queen

been singing a lot lately (so it's not 'hao lian' to say i'm K QUEEN hor! :P)...sing my hearts out in karaoke rooms...sing while walking home...sing while bathing...not becos i'm in a good mood...but i juz discovered many nice nice songs recently...hehehe...tat's y lazy to blog...hohoho...

talking abt singing...i had 'cross-border' singing sessions in consecutive 2 weeks...once in johor (smthing new!) & once in s'pore (kbox lahZ!) let me yak on the johor singing session 1st...it was few weeks back where my colleagues decided to hold a 'early' farewell party for me...they knew i like singing (they also noe i like Fei Lun Hai a lot! hAH)...so they introduced me to 'Red Box' in johor...it's similar to KBox...shld say both are on par (but i think RedBox is cheaper & they can let u sing longer if there were few customers!)....first of all...it's actually a buffet package...so can eat & sing all u can! hahahz...the room & tv screen are huge but of cos...we got 10 ppl mahz...hahaz...probably becos my singing mode was switched on...i kept hogging on the mike...but luckily they liked my singing (or surprised to find my singing & speaking voices differ so much!?!)...phew! I also realised tat my manager has a very roustic (izzit the right word to use?) voice...tat suits oldies...very very nice...her vibrato is good! hahaz...all the eating & singing for approx 4hrs...less than S$25...it's worth it...maybe i'll go there again next time!

2nd singing session was last sat with ping & ong...this time we ventured to a new area...clementi kbox outlet...wow...the rooms are better than expected...tv is also bigger...hahaz...we took KStudent package and sang for a whooping 5 hrs! (2pm to 7pm) damn fun cos we challenged ourselves with crazy rap songs to crying ballads...plus munching the ever exp titbits...(ping & ong are picky on the titbits...hahahz...i juz ate the remainder...:P) we had a super fun time together as usual! gonna go kboxing soon again arh!

while ppl are going korean drama crazy...i'm weird enough to go back into 'japan drama frenzy' (there was a period when jap dramas were popular!) ...thanx to ong for snapping my patience by telling me the youtube webbie for the hana yori dango jap drama...so i cnt control myself to wait for the stock (i wan to buy part 1 but it's out of stock!) to come so i went to catch in on net...u muz think i'm crazy to watch hana yori dango (btw it's actually meteor garden...) cos the plot & story will be the same as the taiwan version or even anime...yes the plot is the same but the filming style & sequence ( & of cos the cast..hehe) are different...i thought it'll be a bit sian but i was completely addicted lehz...so i fell in love with the plot once more...it's like a classic...the OST is great...cast is great ( luv hanazawa rui!!!!! doumyoji is funny!) now tat i finished both season 1 & 2 in less than 5 days...(i finished season 2 in 2 days!) this goes to show this drama is really worth watching if u are a meteor garden fan....i even cried at some scenes becos there seemed to be many obstacles to overcome in the jap adaptation...so try to catch tis drama!

alright...here comes the burning question...wat's my final choice for uni? hahaz...i thought of 2 analogies in the situation tat i'm in right now...choosing either uni is like a tug of war in my brain...both unis are pulling in opp directions while the winner will be the one who gets the red cloth tied in the middle to their side...or a funnier analogy is tat i'm in a meteor garden situation...being shan cai...to choose dao ming si or hua ze lei???? hahaz...i think i wasnt in a right state of mind when it comes to this matter...but most probably...i will choose nus sci (90%)...cos i dun think my character suits the corporate world afterall...i gave much thought abt it...it's like ntu business is very appealing but deep down...my heart seems to prefer nus somehow...dunno y lehz...so i'm going with my feelings (forsaking my frens again!)...hahaz...so i seriously wan to noe who's choosing nus sci? I need company & some courage lahz! (cos most of my frens are flooding to ntu! ahhhh! y am i the odd one out???)

still got 7 working days to endure before i become officially jobless (unemployed shld be a better word!) can slack liaoz...but izzit really very lazy of me to slack for 2 mths before sch starts? i dun think so lehz! :)
